What is happening at Walt Disney World?

Due to the recent travel restrictions announced by the US government, guests travelling from the UK & Ireland will not be permitted entry to the USA for 30 days from midnight Monday 16th March 2020. If you have visited the UK & Ireland within 14 days prior to your travel to the USA this will also apply to you.

The safety and well-being of our Guests and employees remains The Walt Disney Company’s top priority. As a result of this unprecedented pandemic and in line with direction provided by health experts and US government officials, Walt Disney World Resort will remain closed until further notice.

We will continue to stay in close contact with appropriate officials and health experts.

I have an upcoming stay at a Disney Resort hotel. What does this mean for my holiday?

If you are arriving before 30th June 2020 and wish to change your reservation to a new date we will waive all amendment fees, and maintain your existing offer, if applicable. Please note that amended bookings which include transportation may incur additional costs. If you wish to cancel your reservation, we will provide a full refund.

If you arriving after 30th June 2020, then standard booking terms and conditions apply.


I have a Walt Disney World park ticket. What does this mean for my holiday?

If you purchased your ticket before 16th March 2020 and are arriving before 31st December 2020, the validity of your ticket has been extended through to 30th September 2021. Your ticket will update automatically, and you do not need to contact us.


I have a pre-paid dining reservation or experience reservation like Droid Depot during the time when the parks are closed. Will I receive a refund?

Yes. All pre-paid dining and experience reservations impacted by the park closure will be automatically refunded if scheduled between 16th March 2020 through the closure period.


What happens to dining reservations that required a credit card at the time of booking?

Reservations made at locations impacted by the closure will not be charged a cancellation or no-show fee.


Do I need to cancel my FastPass+ reservation when the parks are closed?

All FastPass+ reservations during this time period will be automatically cancelled.
