Will my driver's licence allow me to hire a car?

If I'm driving, how do I get to the Walt Disney World Resort from the airport?

Without knowing where you're coming from or exactly where at Walt Disney World you're trying to go, it's a bit difficult to provide driving directions. Our best advice is to use www.googlemaps.com. On this site you put in the address of your starting destination (i.e airport) and your ending destination (your Disney resort) and you will be able to print off detailed directions.

How do I get there?

If you have booked a flight inclusive holiday, your holiday includes return flights to Orlando International Airport or Tampa International Airport. We offer car hire to our guests via Alamo; if you require further information please contact our Disney Experts on 1800 812 676.

If you choose to purchase your flights separately, many airlines now offer non-stop flights to Orlando. Miami, Sanford and Tampa airports also offer direct and in-direct flights as an alternative. Here are a few things to remember:

Orlando International Airport (MCO)
Orlando International Airport welcomes global visitors on more than 40 scheduled airlines and 32 charters. They provide non-stop service to 74 US destinations and 24 international cities as well as direct service to more than 100 cities worldwide. The airport is within 15 miles (24 kilometres) of major attractions, meeting facilities and downtown Orlando. Shuttle vans, buses, taxis, limousines and rental cars are readily available.

Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB)
This airport covers the Orlando resort areas, as well as Daytona Beach, New Smyma Beach and other holiday havens along the Sunshine State's East coast.

Tampa International Airport (TPA)
Tampa International Airport is served by most major airlines and is located just five miles west of downtown Tampa on the east shore of Tampa Bay and is approximately an hour's drive from Orlando.

How do I get to my Disney Resort hotel if flying into Tampa or Sanford Airports?

If your arriving into Tampa International airport or Sanford International airport you will need to arrange your own transportation to your accommodation. For methods of transportation, please visit Sanford airports website www.orlandosanfordairport.com or Tampa airports website www.tampaairport.com.
